Job Description

As a Receiving Support Associate, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our inventory and providing exceptional support to our receiving team.   1. Assist in the receiving and processing of merchandise shipments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  2. Unload and unpack incoming shipments, checking for damages and discrepancies.
  3. Organize and distribute incoming merchandise to appropriate departments and storage areas.
  4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records.
  5. Keep receiving and storage areas clean, organized, and safe.
  6. Communicate any inventory or shipment issues to the receiving team and management.
  7. Assist in the movement of merchandise throughout the store as needed.
  8. Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing any customer inquiries or concerns.
  9. Help with the preparation and execution of store events and promotions.
  10. Follow all safety and security procedures to protect merchandise and store assets.
  11. Collaborate with other store associates to ensure a cohesive and efficient workflow.
  12. Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  13. Continuously strive to improve receiving processes and procedures.
  14. Attend training and development sessions to enhance job knowledge and skills.
  15. Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Experience In Retail: A Successful Receiving Support Associate At Bloomingdale's Should Have Previous Experience Working In A Retail Environment. This Will Ensure That They Have A Good Understanding Of The Fast-Paced Nature Of The Job And Can Handle The Demands Of The Role.

  • Organizational Skills: The Ability To Organize And Manage Inventory Is Crucial For A Receiving Support Associate. They Should Be Detail-Oriented And Able To Maintain Accurate Records Of Incoming And Outgoing Merchandise.
