• Greet and welcome customers to the cosmetics department with a friendly and approachable demeanor
• Provide exceptional customer service by actively listening to and addressing customer needs and concerns
• Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of all cosmetic products carried by Bloomingdale's and make recommendations to customers based on their individual needs and preferences
• Stay up-to-date on current beauty trends and techniques, and effectively communicate this knowledge to customers
• Utilize sales techniques to promote and sell cosmetic products, meeting or exceeding sales goals
• Educate customers on product features, benefits, and proper use and application
• Assist customers with color matching and makeovers, using your expertise to enhance their beauty
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and increase customer loyalty
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including regularly sanitizing all beauty tools and products
• Attend and actively participate in training sessions and brand events to further develop product knowledge and skills
