Previous Sales Experience: A Successful Commission Sales Associate At Bloomingdale's Should Have Prior Experience In A Retail Sales Role, Preferably In A High-End Or Luxury Environment. This Will Demonstrate The Candidate's Ability To Meet Sales Targets And Provide Exceptional Customer Service.
Strong Product Knowledge: Bloomingdale's Offers A Wide Range Of Products, From Fashion And Accessories To Home Goods. As A Commission Sales Associate, It Is Important To Have A Thorough Understanding Of The Products Being Sold In Order To Effectively Assist Customers And Make Recommendations.
Excellent Communication Skills: A Commission Sales Associate Must Have Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Engage With Customers And Build Relationships. This Includes Being Able To Listen To Customer Needs And Provide Helpful And Persuasive Product Information.
