3. Conduct thorough bag and receipt checks at exit points to prevent theft and ensure compliance with store policies.
4. Maintain a visible presence on the sales floor and interact with customers to provide a friendly and welcoming environment while also deterring potential theft.
5. Collaborate with store management and other security personnel to develop and implement strategies for preventing and responding to security incidents.
6. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all security-related incidents and report them to the appropriate authorities as needed.
7. Conduct investigations and gather evidence in cases of theft, fraud, or other security breaches.
8. Stay up-to-date with the latest security procedures and technologies, and provide training to store employees as needed.
9. Monitor and control access to restricted areas, such as stockrooms and cash offices, to prevent unauthorized entry.
10. Assist in the apprehension and detention of suspected shoplifters in compliance with company policies and local laws.
11. Respond promptly and professionally to emergency situations, such as medical emergencies or fire alarms.
12. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
13. Maintain a professional and customer-oriented attitude at all times, while also displaying a high level of integrity and ethical behavior.
14. Collaborate with store management to identify and address potential security vulnerabilities and recommend solutions.
15. Handle all confidential information and sensitive situations with discretion and follow proper procedures for handling such information.
16. Perform other duties as assigned by the management team.
