Experience In Garment Alterations: A Successful Candidate For This Role Should Have Prior Experience In Garment Alterations, Either Through Previous Employment Or Formal Training. This Includes Skills Such As Hemming, Tailoring, And Working With Different Types Of Fabrics.
Knowledge Of Sewing Equipment And Techniques: The Alterations Associate Should Be Familiar With Various Sewing Equipment And Techniques, Including The Use Of Sewing Machines, Sergers, And Hand Sewing Techniques. They Should Also Have A Strong Understanding Of Garment Construction And Be Able To Troubleshoot Any Issues That May Arise.
