
Software Engineer - Battle.net
Blizzard Entertainment has an opening for a talented and enthusiastic Software Engineer to join our Battle.net Auth team! Design and implement new features for the Battle.net account authentication and authorization SDKs. Work on Java server-side APIs and Web Applications. Design features and applications for high availability requirements (99.99% uptime). Write well thought out, secure, high-performance, well-documented Java, C# or C++ code. Write quality unit tests to achieve very high code coverage. Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot performance across all tiers. Perform code reviews and identify security and/or backwards compatibility or scalability issues with code. Respond to production issues in a timely manner.
A minimum of 3 years relevant professional software engineering work experience
Comfortable with working in, analyzing, and improving an existing codebase
Strong Software Design patterns and industry best practices
Familiarity with public cloud services such as AWS, GCP, Azure
