Functional Safety Manager

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Functional Safety Manager to join BlackBerry’s Safety, Quality, and Regulatory Team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our functional safety processes in order to ensure that our products meet the highest safety standards. This position provides an exciting opportunity for a self-starter with a passion for quality, safety, and regulatory compliance to make an impact on BlackBerry’s products.The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field and at least 5 years of experience in the field of functional safety. They must also be certified as a Functional Safety Expert or have the ability to become certified within 6 months of starting the job. A solid understanding of ISO 26262 and other functional safety standards, as well as experience with automotive development processes and E/E architectures, is required.We are looking for a team player with excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills who can take initiative and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
