IT Project Manager

Analyzes customer requirements, evaluates new technology, presents recommendations, and plans test and implementation schedules for introduction of new systems, networks, hardware, software, or applications. Leads medium to large IT projects and/or technology initiatives and applies innovative solutions to systems, hardware, software, networking, programming, and/or applications problems. Provides technical support, maintenance, and specialized end user training to ensure effective systems utilization and integration. Participates in the development of policies, procedures, standards and controls related to a project. Plans, manages resources and reports all project obligations. Ensures project objectives are met. Provides cost and resource planning documentation, project leadership, training, and work direction of team. Supports or leads Program Management responsibilities for IT. Maintains up-to-date knowledge of industry practices, trends, and applications and is considered a highly technical resource in the field. Advises management on new business developments and programs. Performs related duties normally associated with supervision including, but not limited to hiring, training, evaluating, and disciplining of employees related to project initiatives.
