Job Description

The Instructional Technology Services Specialist provides support for the technology used for teaching & learning. Serve as a subject matter expert for instructional technologies, self-service presentation technologies in classrooms and conference rooms, digital signage, and computer classrooms and labs. Oversee a team of student employees who maintain classroom technology. Work reactively in coordination with IT’s Help Desk to efficiently respond to instructional technology incidents. Ensure instructional technology services are maintained; monitor, track, and update support issues; maintain asset inventory; coordinate maintenance scheduling, tracking, and inventory control. Leverage relationships with faculty, students, and other campus users to provide solutions that engage teaching and learning. Provide training for faculty, staff, and students in the use of the technology in conference room and classroom contexts.

Job Qualifications
  • Experience with Crestron technologies.

  • Demonstrated experience using and supporting audio-visual, web conferencing, and presentation solutions in classrooms and conference rooms.

  • Demonstrated experience troubleshooting and remediating technology incidents.
