  1. Develop and teach undergraduate and graduate courses in communication sciences and disorders, utilizing innovative and effective teaching methods.

  4. Secure external funding for research projects and collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary research initiatives.

  7. Provide professional development opportunities for students and colleagues through workshops, seminars, and conferences.

  9. Participate in the admissions process for the communication sciences and disorders program.
  10. Serve as a role model for students, demonstrating a strong commitment to ethical and professional standards in the field.
  11. Contribute to the development and evaluation of the communication sciences and disorders curriculum.
  12. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for students of diverse backgrounds.
  13. Engage in outreach and community service activities to promote the department and university's mission.
  14. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching, research, and service skills.

Job Qualifications
  • A Doctoral Degree In Communication Sciences And Disorders Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Teaching Experience At The University Level, With A Strong Record Of Student Engagement And Learning Outcomes.

  • Active Research Agenda And Publications In The Field Of Communication Sciences And Disorders.

  • Certification By The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (Asha) And Eligibility For California State Licensure.

  • Proven Leadership Skills And Ability To Collaborate With Colleagues In A Team-Oriented Environment.
