Sleep Tech Trainee

We are seeking an energetic and motivated Sleep Tech Trainee to join our team at Billings Clinic. As a Sleep Tech Trainee, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team of sleep professionals dedicated to providing excellent clinical care. You will have the opportunity to learn the science and technology of sleep medicine and to gain valuable hands-on experience in the field. To be successful in this role, you must possess a high level of technical proficiency and an in-depth knowledge of sleep medicine. A positive attitude and a willingness to learn are also essential for this position. Required Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent • Completion of a sleep technology education program • Current certification from the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT) • Knowledge of sleep medicine principles and techniques • Ability to operate complex sleep technology equipment • Ability to work in a team environment • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Flexibility in scheduling • Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Responsibilites: • Set up and monitor patients during sleep studies • Perform data collection and analysis of sleep studies • Ensure accuracy and precision when collecting and recording data • Assist in the interpretation of sleep study results • Provide patient education and support • Maintain accurate patient records • Participate in team meetings • Maintain a clean and safe working environment • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines • Perform other duties as assigned
