RN - Labor and Delivery, Recovery and Post-Partum

We are looking for a talented and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team at Billings Clinic. Reporting to the Nurse Manager, the RN - Labor and Delivery, Recovery and Post-Partum will be responsible for providing high quality, holistic care for mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, recovery and post-partum. In this role, you will be the primary provider of care for patients, while also providing support and guidance to family members.The ideal candidate for this position will have a valid RN license in the state of Montana, a minimum of three years of experience in labor and delivery, a thorough understanding of fetal monitoring, and a strong commitment to patient safety and quality outcomes. In addition, we are looking for someone with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a team-oriented mindset, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

1. Provide high quality, holistic care for mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, recovery and post-partum.

3. Monitor fetal health and progress during labor and delivery.
4. Maintain patient safety and quality outcomes.
5. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
6. Work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
7. Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
8. Provide support to patients and families during labor and delivery.
9. Administer medications and provide other medical interventions as needed.
10. Document patient care and progress in medical records.
