Phlebotomist (Laboratory Technical Assistant)

At Billings Clinic, we are currently seeking a highly motivated Phlebotomist (Laboratory Technical Assistant) to join our dedicated laboratory team! As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting and handling blood samples from patients. This is a critical role in our laboratory and we are looking for someone with strong attention to detail and excellent customer service skills.To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, a minimum of one year of experience in a laboratory setting, and current certification or registration as a Phlebotomist. The successful candidate will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to remain calm under pressure, and the ability to effectively work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

• Collect and handle blood samples from patients in a safe and accurate manner
• Ensure that all samples are labeled and labeled correctly
• Follow all laboratory procedures and guidelines
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families
• Communicate effectively with laboratory personnel and other medical staff
• Perform other duties as assigned by the laboratory manager
• Maintain current certification or registration as a Phlebotomist
• Monitor and restock supplies as needed
