Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician in Training to join our team at Billings Clinic. In this role, you will be responsible for providing assistance to Pharmacists in the preparation and distribution of medications. You will also be responsible for providing customer service to patients. To be successful in this role, you must have excellent attention to detail and be able to work well in a fast-paced environment.The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be a self-starter, and have a willingness to learn. You must also possess a High School Diploma or GED and have a state-issued Pharmacy Technician License (or be willing to obtain one). Responsibilities:

  1. Assist Pharmacists in the preparation and distribution of medications.
  2. Provide customer service to patients.
  3. Ensure accuracy of medications when preparing and distributing.
  4. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  5. Follow state and federal regulations related to pharmacy operations.
  6. Utilize pharmacy systems and software to enter patient data, fill prescriptions, and process payments.
  7. Stay up-to-date on the latest developments in the pharmacy industry.
  8. Obtain and maintain a state-issued Pharmacy Technician License.
  9. Maintain confidentiality of all patient information.
  10. Resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
