Additionally, the candidate should possess a minimum of two years of experience as an Occupational Therapist, preferably in a healthcare setting. The ideal candidate should be able to think outside the box and possess excellent communication skills as well as a strong commitment to patient advocacy. Responsibilities:

1. Perform physical assessments and develop treatment plans to help patients develop, improve, and maintain the skills needed for daily living and working.
2. Provide occupational therapy services in accordance with current standards of practice.
3. Develop individualized treatment plans designed to improve the patient's functional abilities.
4. Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
5. Educate patients and families on the use of adaptive equipment and strategies to maximize independence.
6. Establish positive relationships with patients and their families to ensure consistency in care.
7. Develop and implement innovative treatments and strategies to meet the needs of patients.
8. Participate in team meetings and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible patient care.
9. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
10. Keep abreast of current trends and developments in the field of Occupational Therapy.
