Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree In Health Information Management Or Related Field: The Him Specialist At Billings Clinic Must Have A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Health Information Management Or A Related Field. This Provides A Strong Foundation In Healthcare Regulations, Data Management, And Technology.

  • Certified Health Information Management Professional (Chim): The Ideal Candidate Should Hold A Chim Certification From The American Health Information Management Association (Ahima). This Certification Demonstrates A High Level Of Knowledge And Expertise In Health Information Management.

  • Knowledge Of Hipaa Regulations And Compliance: The Him Specialist Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of Hipaa Regulations And Compliance In Order To Protect Patient Privacy And Maintain The Security Of Sensitive Healthcare Information.

  • Proficiency In Electronic Health Record (Ehr) Systems: Billings Clinic Utilizes An Electronic Health Record System For Managing Patient Information. The Him Specialist Must Have Experience And Proficiency In Working With Ehr Systems To Accurately Record And Maintain Patient Data.
