Clinical Coordinator - Operating Room

We are looking for a Clinical Coordinator - Operating Room to join our team at Billings Clinic. Our ideal candidate is an experienced and motivated healthcare professional who can provide excellent support to our Operating Room staff and ensure efficient and safe patient care.The successful candidate will possess a combination of clinical and administrative skills and will have a demonstrated track record of superior patient care and customer service. The Clinical Coordinator - Operating Room is responsible for the daily operations of the Operating Room and acts as a liaison between the OR staff, surgeons, and other departments within the hospital.The ideal candidate should have a minimum of two years of nursing experience, preferably in an operating room setting, and possess a current RN license in the state of Montana. In addition, the Clinical Coordinator will have excellent communication and problem solving skills, a commitment to excellence and a professional attitude. The successful candidate will be an organized individual with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and have a strong focus on patient safety.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage the daily operations of the Operating Room.
2. Act as a liaison between the OR staff, surgeons, and other departments within the hospital.
3. Provide excellent support to staff and ensure efficient and safe patient care.
4. Maintain current RN license in the state of Montana.
5. Demonstrate superior customer service and patient care.
6. Possess excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.
7. Monitor patient safety and ensure compliance with all safety standards.
8. Provide training and guidance to staff as needed.
9. Assist with scheduling and resource management.
10. Assist with any additional duties as needed.
