Claims Specialist I - Patient Accounts Hospital & Clinic

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and organized Claims Specialist I to join the Patient Accounts team at Billings Clinic Hospital & Clinic. In this role, you will be responsible for processing claims to ensure timely and accurate reimbursement of services provided to our patients.The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills with a commitment to providing the highest level of patient care. To be successful in this role, you must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to work quickly and accurately, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

1. Process patient claims to ensure timely and accurate reimbursement of services provided.
2. Maintain accurate records and documentation for all claims.
3. Respond to patient inquiries regarding claims status and other related billing questions.
4. Research and resolve complex billing issues.
5. Liaise with insurance providers, hospitals, and other healthcare providers as needed.
6. Ensure compliance with health insurance regulations.
7. Handle all patient complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
8. Monitor and reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy.
9. Provide training and support to other team members.
10. Stay up to date with current coding regulations and updates.
