
Audiology Assistant
Billings Clinic is looking for a qualified and passionate Audiology Assistant to join our team. If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you.Required Qualifications:• High School diploma or equivalent• Minimum one year of experience in a healthcare setting or related field• Knowledge of audiology principles and procedures• Excellent organizational and communication skills• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism• Ability to work independently and as part of a team• Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment• Strong customer service skills• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
Responsibilities:
• Assist audiologist in providing patient care, including preparing patients for testing procedures, collecting data, and providing patient instruction
• Schedule patient appointments and maintain patient records
• Operate and maintain audiology equipment, ensuring accuracy of results
• Administer and score hearing tests
• Assist in the fitting and maintenance of hearing aids
• Educate patients on hearing aid use, maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Provide patient-centered customer service
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality in all patient interactions
• Remain up-to-date on new developments in audiology and hearing aid technology
• Ensure compliance with healthcare laws and regulations
