- Operate various warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to transport merchandise throughout the warehouse.
- Ensure the safe and efficient storage and retrieval of merchandise in designated areas.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels by carefully tracking the movement of merchandise.
- Conduct routine inspections of warehouse equipment and report any malfunctions or damages to the appropriate personnel.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries within the warehouse.
- Collaborate with other warehouse team members to fulfill orders and maintain a smooth workflow.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse by properly storing merchandise and keeping the work area free of clutter.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding merchandise handling and security.
- Communicate any supply shortages or discrepancies to the warehouse manager in a timely manner.
- Continuously strive to improve warehouse efficiency and suggest ideas for process improvements.
- Ensure all merchandise is handled with care to prevent damage.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed.
- Participate in regular training and development opportunities to enhance warehouse operations knowledge and skills.
- Provide excellent customer service by promptly addressing any concerns or issues related to warehouse operations.
- Maintain a positive attitude and work collaboratively with team members to achieve department and company goals.
Forklift Certification: Candidates Must Have A Valid Forklift Certification From An Accredited Training Program.
Experience Operating Warehouse Equipment: Previous Experience Operating Warehouse Equipment Such As Forklifts, Pallet Jacks, And Reach Trucks Is Preferred.
Physical Stamina: This Position Requires Physical Stamina And The Ability To Lift And Move Heavy Items, Often In A Fast-Paced Environment.
Attention To Detail: Warehouse Equipment Operators Must Have Strong Attention To Detail To Ensure Accurate Inventory Tracking And Safe Operation Of Equipment.
Team Player: The Ability To Work Well In A Team And Communicate Effectively With Coworkers Is Essential For This Role, As Warehouse Equipment Operators Often Work Alongside Other Employees In A Warehouse Setting.
