- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including restocking shelves and arranging displays.
- Ensure shelves are fully stocked with merchandise, regularly checking inventory levels and restocking as needed.
- Receive and process merchandise deliveries, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Operate cash registers and handle customer transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer concerns and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Continuously learn about new products and promotions to effectively assist customers and increase sales.
- Collaborate with team members to meet and exceed sales goals and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and merchandising standards.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times, representing the Big Lots brand with pride and enthusiasm.
- Assist in other areas of the store as needed, such as stocking, cleaning, and organizing.
- Continuously strive to improve the customer experience by suggesting process improvements and providing feedback to management.
- Attend and actively participate in team meetings and training sessions.
- Maintain a reliable and punctual work schedule, ensuring shifts are covered and the store is adequately staffed.
