Greet and welcome customers with a friendly and positive attitude.
Provide outstanding customer service by assisting customers with their shopping needs and inquiries.
Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including restocking shelves and keeping merchandise neatly displayed.
Assist in setting up promotional displays and maintaining store appearance.
Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale systems.
Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and ensure customer satisfaction.
Continuously learn about products and promotions to provide accurate information to customers.
Follow company policies and procedures to ensure a safe and secure shopping environment for customers and employees.
Work collaboratively with team members to handle and resolve customer complaints or concerns.
Adhere to stockroom procedures and assist in receiving and stocking merchandise.
Follow inventory control and loss prevention guidelines to prevent theft and minimize inventory shrinkage.
Assist in maintaining accurate and organized store inventory.
Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on new products and procedures.
Meet or exceed performance expectations, including sales targets and customer service goals.
Represent the company in a professional and positive manner at all times.

Job Qualifications

Previous Experience In A Retail Or Customer Service Environment: A Qualified Candidate For A Retail Store Associates And Stocker Job At Big Lots Should Have Prior Experience Working In A Retail Or Customer Service Role. Attention To Detail And Ability To Multitask: A Retail Store Associates And Stocker Job At Big Lots Requires The Candidate To Handle Multiple Tasks At Once, Such As Assisting Customers, Restocking Shelves, And Organizing Merchandise. The Candidate Should Have Strong Attention To Detail And The Ability To Multitask Effectively.
