Our ideal candidate will be a creative and organized individual with excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for ensuring the success of our customers' shopping experience.The Merchandise Coordinator will be responsible for organizing and executing the merchandising needs of our retail locations. Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate and execute the merchandising needs of Big Lots retail locations in accordance with company standards.
  2. Monitor inventory levels and order new merchandise as needed to ensure optimal customer shopping experience.
  3. Manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  4. Maintain excellent customer service standards and ensure all customers have a positive shopping experience.
  5. Develop and implement effective merchandising strategies to maximize sales and profits.
  6. Work with the marketing team to ensure products are properly promoted and advertised.
  7. Analyze sales data and provide feedback and recommendations to the management team.
  8. Train and mentor new team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.
  9. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  10. Monitor store operations and ensure quality standards are met.
