Big Lots is looking for a Lead Support Associate to join our team and provide exceptional support to our customers.As the Lead Support Associate, you will serve as a role model and mentor to other associates, delivering top-notch support for customers and addressing any customer inquiries. You will be responsible for training and developing associates and ensuring that all customer service standards are met.The ideal candidate for this position is someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and customer service-driven. We are looking for someone who is passionate about taking ownership of customer inquiries and delivering results.To excel in this role, you must have:• At least 2 years of customer service experience• Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills• The ability to multi-task and remain organized in a fast-paced environment• The ability to work independently and as part of a team• Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft OfficeIf you have a passion for customer service and are looking for an exciting opportunity to lead a team, this could be the perfect role for you!

Responsibilities:

  1. Serve as a role model and mentor to other associates, delivering top-notch support for customers and addressing any customer inquiries.
  2. Train and develop associates and ensure that all customer service standards are met.
  3. Manage customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback.
  4. Work independently and as part of a team to solve customer service problems.
  5. Utilize strong computer and Microsoft Office skills to provide efficient and effective customer service.
  6. Monitor customer service metrics and identify areas for improvement.
  7. Act as a liaison between customers, management, and other customer service teams.
  8. Stay up-to-date on new policies and procedures to ensure customer service standards are met.
  9. Ensure customer inquiries are responded to in a timely and professional manner.
  10. Assist with other customer service-related tasks as needed.
