Job Description

At Big Lots, we are looking for a Lead Support Associate who is passionate about customer service and is excited to join our team. The Lead Support Associate will be responsible for managing the customer service team, ensuring all customer inquiries are answered in a timely and professional manner, and providing guidance and support to team members. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the customer service team by providing guidance, support, and direction.
  2. Ensure all customer inquiries are answered in a timely and professional manner.
  3. Effectively manage customer service staff by setting performance goals, providing feedback, and ensuring all employees are following company policies.
  4. Develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
  5. Monitor customer service performance and take necessary corrective actions.
  6. Handle escalated customer complaints and provide resolution.
  7. Train and onboard new customer service staff.
  8. Stay up-to-date with customer service industry trends and best practices.
  9. Assist in creating and implementing customer service processes and procedures.
  10. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions.
