Job Description

We are looking for an energetic, customer-focused Lead Support Associate to join our Big Lots team. This role is essential to our success, as you will manage day-to-day operations in our store and ensure that customers have an enjoyable shopping experience. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude and a passion for helping customers, as well as the necessary skills and experience to effectively oversee store operations. To be successful in this role, you will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to manage a team and multitask in a fast-paced environment. You should also be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of making decisions quickly. Responsibilities:

-Develop and implement strategies to improve customer service and satisfaction -Coordinate daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, customer service, inventory, and sales -Lead and oversee a team of associates to ensure goals are met -Enforce policies and procedures to maintain a safe and secure store environment -Provide customer service, including resolving customer inquiries and complaints -Monitor store performance and provide feedback to team members -Train and motivate staff to meet performance goals -Maintain accurate records of store operations and transactions -Conduct regular inventory audits and maintain accurate inventory records -Identify opportunities for process improvement and develop strategies to increase efficiency -Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
