Job Description

Are you a sales expert with a passion for furniture? Big Lots is looking for a motivated Furniture Sales Lead to join our team! We are looking for someone with a drive to succeed, who will take initiative and lead our sales team to success. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, great organizational and communication abilities, and a strong knowledge of furniture products. Responsibilities:

  1. Lead a team of furniture sales associates and ensure they meet their sales goals.
  2. Train and coach sales team on product knowledge and customer service.
  3. Maintain a thorough knowledge of Big Lots' furniture products, including product features, pricing, and availability.
  4. Ensure all customers receive the highest level of customer service.
  5. Develop and implement strategies to increase store sales.
  6. Assist in creating and managing promotional displays and pricing strategies.
  7. Monitor inventory levels and reorder when necessary.
  8. Respond to customer inquiries and complaints in a timely manner.
  9. Participate in store events and local promotions.
  10. Keep abreast of competitors’ pricing and promotions.
