Job Description

At Big Lots, we are looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic Furniture Sales Lead who is passionate about helping customers find the perfect pieces for their homes. We are looking for someone who is able to provide excellent customer service, as well as a willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has prior experience in furniture sales and a positive attitude. Additionally, they should have strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with team members. Responsibilities:

  1. Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  2. Assist customers in finding the perfect pieces for their homes, offering advice and suggestions as needed.
  3. Maintain a professional and organized showroom, ensuring all furniture is displayed in a pleasing manner.
  4. Ensure that all sales goals are met and exceeded.
  5. Develop and implement strategies for increasing furniture sales and customer satisfaction.
  6. Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and product offerings in the furniture industry.
  7. Participate in team meetings and staff training sessions to ensure that all team members are knowledgeable about current products and services.
  8. Foster a positive work environment and collaborate with team members to increase sales and customer satisfaction.
  9. Follow all safety protocols and store policies to ensure customer safety.
  10. Process transactions and maintain accurate records of sales and customer information.
