Big Lots is looking for an energetic, customer-oriented Furniture Sales Lead to join our team! As the Furniture Sales Lead, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, creating a warm and welcoming shopping environment, and leading a team of sales associates. This role requires a commitment to creating a positive shopping experience and a strong understanding of the furniture retail industry.To be successful in this role, you must have excellent communication and customer service skills, be able to multitask and prioritize effectively, and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in a furniture retail or sales environment is preferred. A passion for helping customers find the perfect furniture piece and providing exceptional customer service is a must!If you are an experienced Furniture Sales Lead with a positive attitude and a commitment to providing quality customer service, we can’t wait to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead a team of sales associates in providing excellent customer service.
  2. Create a warm and welcoming shopping environment.
  3. Maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
  4. Monitor customer satisfaction and address any issues in a timely manner.
  5. Assist customers in selecting the perfect furniture pieces.
  6. Train and mentor sales associates on customer service and sales best practices.
  7. Monitor inventory levels and restock shelves as needed.
  8. Ensure all furniture displays are kept neat and inviting.
  9. Monitor sales goals and develop strategies to reach them.
  10. Ensure all store policies are enforced.
