- Create a welcoming and unique shopping experience for customers, showcasing our home decor and furnishings.
- Utilize your passion for home decor and knowledge of furniture to assist customers in finding the perfect pieces for their homes.
- Train and coach sales associates on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service skills.
- Monitor sales performance and provide regular feedback and guidance to the team to improve sales.
- Collaborate with store management to develop and implement sales strategies to drive furniture sales.
- Ensure the store is visually appealing and merchandise is displayed in an attractive and organized manner.

- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, new products, and competitors to provide a competitive edge in the marketplace.
- Maintain inventory levels and assist in restocking and merchandising furniture products.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including inventory control and loss prevention measures.
- Act as a role model for the sales team, demonstrating exceptional customer service and sales skills.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide recommendations for development and promotions within the team.

Previous Sales Experience: A Furniture Sales Lead At Big Lots Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience In Retail Sales, With A Proven Track Record Of Meeting Or Exceeding Sales Targets.
Knowledge Of Furniture Products: A Strong Understanding Of Furniture Products And Their Features Is Essential For This Role. The Ideal Candidate Should Be Able To Provide Expert Product Recommendations And Answer Customer Questions Accurately.
Exceptional Customer Service Skills: Big Lots Places A High Emphasis On Providing Exceptional Customer Service. A Furniture Sales Lead Should Have Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Build Relationships With Customers And Provide A Positive Shopping Experience.
Team Leadership Abilities: This Role Requires The Ability To Lead And Motivate A Team Of Sales Associates. The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience In Coaching And Developing Team Members, As Well As Setting And Achieving Sales Goals.
