- Assist customers in finding and selecting furniture pieces that meet their needs and budget.
- Demonstrate extensive knowledge of the store's furniture products, including features, benefits, and pricing.
- Proactively approach and engage with customers to understand their needs and offer solutions.
- Create and maintain a visually appealing and organized furniture department, ensuring all products are properly displayed and stocked.
- Train and coach sales associates on furniture product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service.
- Meet and exceed sales targets by actively promoting and selling furniture products.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing a personalized shopping experience and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Sales Experience: A Furniture Sales Lead At Big Lots Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience In Sales, Preferably In The Furniture Industry. This Experience Will Ensure That The Candidate Is Comfortable With The Sales Process And Can Effectively Close Deals.
Knowledge Of Furniture Products: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Different Types Of Furniture, Materials, And Styles. This Will Enable Them To Make Knowledgeable Recommendations To Customers And Assist Them In Finding The Right Pieces For Their Needs.
