Job Description

Are you an experienced Furniture Sales Lead with a passion for providing exceptional customer service? Big Lots is looking for a motivated and sales-driven individual to join our team and take our furniture sales to the next level. We are seeking an individual with great interpersonal skills and an enthusiasm for working with customers to help them find the perfect furniture for their needs.The ideal candidate should have a minimum of two years of experience in a customer service or sales role, preferably in the furniture industry. They should also have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as a knack for problem-solving. Our Furniture Sales Lead must be a self-starter who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, a successful candidate should have a high level of product knowledge and the ability to provide customers with accurate information about our furniture products.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of furniture sales associates in providing exceptional customer service • Utilize excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage customers and provide advice on furniture products • Monitor sales floor activities and ensure that all customer inquiries are handled in a timely manner • Assist customers in selecting the best furniture for their needs • Maintain a high level of product knowledge and stay up-to-date on new furniture arrivals • Utilize problem-solving skills to handle customer complaints and inquiries • Organize and oversee merchandising activities to ensure a visually appealing sales floor • Monitor sales performance and develop strategies to increase sales • Work with other departments to ensure that inventory levels are up to date and properly stocked • Train new sales associates and provide guidance and support as needed
