Freight Processing Lead

1. Oversee the processing and distribution of merchandise throughout the store to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
2. Train and supervise a team of freight processors to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
3. Maintain inventory accuracy by conducting regular stock checks and monitoring stock levels.
4. Coordinate with other departments to ensure merchandise is received, sorted, and stocked in a timely manner.
5. Ensure all safety guidelines and procedures are followed when handling merchandise.
6. Communicate effectively with store management and team members to prioritize tasks and address any issues or concerns.
7. Monitor and track productivity levels of freight processing team to identify areas for improvement.
8. Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
9. Assist with organizing and setting up displays and promotional items.
10. Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote a safe and pleasant shopping experience for customers.
11. Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
12. Act as a role model for team members, providing guidance and support as needed.
13. Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
14. Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and pricing to assist customers with their shopping needs.
15. Work closely with management to ensure store goals and objectives are met.
