In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily freight processing operations, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of merchandise to our stores. Oversee and coordinate daily freight processing operations to ensure timely delivery of merchandise to stores.
Manage and delegate tasks to team members to ensure efficient and organized workflow.
Monitor inventory levels and communicate with suppliers to ensure timely replenishment.
Train and mentor team members on proper freight handling techniques and safety procedures.
Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing merchandise.
Collaborate with store management to prioritize and allocate resources based on store needs.
Identify and resolve any issues or delays in the freight processing process.
Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the freight processing area.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve processes.
Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing any customer concerns or inquiries related to freight processing.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve overall store operations.
Manage and maintain equipment and tools used in the freight processing process.
Create and maintain a positive and productive work environment for the team.

Job Qualifications

Experience In Freight Processing: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Similar Role, Preferably In The Retail Industry. This Experience Should Include Knowledge Of Receiving, Sorting, And Organizing Merchandise.
Strong Leadership Skills: As A Freight Processing Lead, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Overseeing A Team Of Freight Processors. The Candidate Should Have Proven Experience In Leading And Motivating A Team To Achieve Goals And Meet Deadlines.
Attention To Detail: The Candidate Should Have Excellent Attention To Detail To Ensure Accuracy In Receiving And Processing Merchandise. This Includes Verifying Quantities, Inspecting For Damages, And Correctly Labeling Items.
Organizational Skills: The Freight Processing Lead Will Be Responsible For Managing And Prioritizing The Flow Of Merchandise In The Stockroom. The Candidate Should Have Strong Organizational Skills To Maintain A Clean And Efficient Stockroom And Ensure Merchandise Is Readily Available For The Sales Floor.
Physical Stamina: This Role Requires The Candidate To Be Physically Fit And Able To Lift And Move Heavy Merchandise Throughout The Day. The Candidate Should Be Able To Stand, Bend, And Lift For Extended Periods And Be Comfortable Working In A Fast-Paced Environment.
