Oversee and coordinate the movement of merchandise within the store, ensuring efficient and timely processing of freight.
Train and supervise a team of freight processors, providing guidance and support to ensure tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
Maintain a high level of organization and accuracy in all freight processing tasks, including receiving, sorting, and stocking merchandise.
Collaborate with store management to develop and implement strategies for improving freight processing procedures and increasing productivity.
Monitor inventory levels and communicate any discrepancies or issues to management.
Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are followed during freight processing activities.
Assist with the scheduling and assignment of tasks to team members to ensure all freight is processed in a timely manner.
Communicate regularly with vendors and delivery companies to track and coordinate incoming shipments.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to company standards and policies.
Lead by example and foster a positive and collaborative team environment.

Job Qualifications

Previous Experience In A Supervisory Or Leadership Role, Preferably In A Retail Or Warehouse Environment.
Strong Organizational And Time-Management Skills To Effectively Oversee Freight Processing Operations.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Abilities To Lead And Motivate A Team Of Freight Processors.
Knowledge Of Inventory Management And Logistics Processes, Including Receiving, Sorting, And Stocking Merchandise.
Ability To Work Flexible Hours And Lift Heavy Objects, As The Job May Involve Physical Labor And Irregular Shifts.
