- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the freight processing department.
- Ensure the timely and accurate processing of all incoming merchandise.
- Coordinate with vendors and distribution centers to ensure timely delivery of merchandise to stores.
- Supervise and train a team of freight processors, ensuring their adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure proper stock levels in stores.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity within the department.
- Communicate with store managers and other departments to resolve any issues or concerns related to freight processing.
