Freight Processing Lead

We are looking for an experienced Freight Processing Lead to join our team at Big Lots. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that merchandise is properly processed and that customer orders are accurately fulfilled. 2. Ensure all merchandise is properly processed and prepared for shipment.
3. Oversee the incoming and outgoing shipments of merchandise to ensure accuracy and meeting deadlines.
4. Manage the inventory of freight, ensuring that it is properly stored and tracked.
5. Monitor freight processing staff to ensure they are following proper protocols and procedures.
6. Analyze data and reports to identify areas for improvement.
7. Train and mentor freight processing staff on proper freight processing techniques.
8. Collaborate with other departments to ensure the efficient and timely processing of orders.
9. Resolve customer complaints and inquiries efficiently and professionally.
10. Develop and implement strategies to improve freight processing operations.
