- Collaborate with HR to recruit, interview, and onboard new store managers and team members.
- Handle any escalated customer or employee concerns.
- Implement and uphold company policies and procedures related to safety and security.
Strong Leadership Skills: A District Manager At Big Lots Must Have The Ability To Effectively Lead And Manage A Team Of Store Managers To Achieve Company Goals And Objectives.
Retail Experience: Candidates For This Position Should Have Previous Experience In Retail Management, Preferably In A Similar Role As A District Manager.
Excellent Communication Skills: The District Manager Will Be Responsible For Communicating With Store Managers, Corporate Leaders, And Other Team Members. Therefore, Excellent Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal, Are Essential.
Analytical And Strategic Thinking: The District Manager Must Possess Strong Analytical Skills To Analyze Sales Data, Identify Trends, And Develop Strategies To Improve Store Performance In Their District.
