Category Manager, Procurement

As a Category Manager, Procurement at Big Lots, you will be responsible for the procurement of products to support our retail and eCommerce operations. You will be responsible for reviewing, negotiating, and executing agreements with suppliers to ensure that the business is meeting the needs of our customers. In addition, you will be responsible for working with internal stakeholders to ensure that the appropriate products are purchased and that the company’s goals and objectives are met.To be successful in this role, you should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field and at least 5 years of experience in supply chain, procurement or a related field. You should also have excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as a deep understanding of the retail industry.
