Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategies for sourcing, procurement and management of assigned categories.
Manage and lead a team to ensure procurement goals and objectives are met.
Utilize strong communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services.
Analyze category and supplier performance to ensure cost savings and efficiency.
Analyze market trends and recommend changes in product mix and pricing to ensure maximum profitability.
Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to procurement.
Negotiate contracts and monitor supplier performance.
Establish relationships with key suppliers and maintain regular contact with them.
Develop and maintain an accurate and up-to-date database of supplier information.
Develop and implement cost control measures to ensure financial goals are met.
Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of products.
Provide timely, accurate and clear reporting of performance metrics.
