Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure the best possible pricing and terms for Big Lots.
Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors and suppliers to maximize value and profitability for Big Lots.
Analyze and monitor market trends and pricing dynamics to ensure that Big Lots is competitive in the marketplace.
Develop strategic plans for category management and procurement to achieve Big Lots' business goals.
Monitor inventory levels and identify potential supply chain issues.
Prepare and present reports on category management and procurement activities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that Big Lots is meeting customer demands and expectations.
Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments.
