Job Description

Big Lots is seeking an experienced and dedicated Associate Relations Advisor to join our team. As an Associate Relations Advisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring a positive and productive work environment for our associates. You will provide guidance and support to both associates and management on a variety of employee relations matters. To be successful in this role, you must have a deep understanding of employment laws and possess strong communication and problem-solving skills. Provide guidance and support to both associates and management on employee relations matters.
Ensure a positive and productive work environment for all associates.
Stay up-to-date on employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
Handle and resolve employee conflicts and issues in a timely and professional manner.
Conduct investigations into employee complaints and concerns.
Develop and implement policies and procedures to promote a positive workplace culture.
Collaborate with management to address employee performance and conduct issues.
Communicate and educate associates on company policies and procedures.
Act as a mediator in conflicts between associates and management.
Maintain accurate and confidential records of all employee relations matters.
Provide training and support to management on effective employee relations practices.
Stay current on industry trends and best practices in employee relations.
Serve as a resource for associates and management on all HR-related inquiries.
Help develop and implement strategies to improve employee morale and engagement.
Conduct exit interviews and provide feedback to management on areas of improvement.

Job Qualifications

Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills.
Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources, Labor Relations, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Employee Relations Or Labor Relations Role.
Strong Understanding Of Employment Laws And Regulations.
Ability To Handle Sensitive And Confidential Information With Discretion And Professionalism.
