  1. Oversee the design and development of software products to ensure they meet industry standards and regulations, including but not limited to FDA regulations and ISO standards.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design requirements and develop software solutions that meet user needs and business objectives.
  3. Conduct thorough risk assessments and implement appropriate controls and mitigations to ensure product safety and reliability.
  4. Develop and maintain software quality assurance processes and procedures, including testing protocols and documentation.
  5. Utilize your expert knowledge of software engineering principles and methodologies to guide and mentor junior engineers.
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and trends to continually improve software design and development processes.
  7. Act as a subject matter expert on software quality and compliance, providing guidance and support to other departments within the organization.
  8. Lead investigations into any software-related quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  9. Participate in audits and inspections to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards.
  10. Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including presenting data and reports to senior management.
  11. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and actively seek out opportunities to streamline processes and enhance overall product quality.
  12. Foster a culture of innovation and excellence within the software engineering team.
  13. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including those related to confidentiality, data security, and ethical standards.
  14. Represent the company at industry events and conferences, showcasing our commitment to quality and innovation in the medical device field.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Computer Science, Software Engineering, Or A Related Field.

  • At Least 5 Years Of Experience In Software Design, Development, And Quality Assurance, Ideally In The Medical Device Industry.

  • Strong Understanding Of Software Development Life Cycle, Including Design Controls And Risk Management Processes.

  • Experience With Fda Regulations And International Standards For Medical Device Software, Such As Iec 62304.

  • Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Work Cross-Functionally And Lead Teams In A Fast-Paced Environment.
