
Sr. Compliance Engineer
At Becton Dickinson, we are looking for a detail-oriented, experienced Sr. Compliance Engineer to join our team. The Sr. Compliance Engineer is responsible for ensuring that our organization meets all legal and regulatory requirements for medical device design, manufacture, and distribution. The successful candidate will have a passion for safety, quality, and compliance and will be a key player in our mission to bring innovative medical solutions to the world.The ideal candidate for this position will have a Bachelor's degree in engineering, technology, or a related field and at least 5 years of experience in a compliance engineering role. The candidate must also have a strong understanding of medical device regulations, such as FDA Quality System Regulation (QSR), ISO 13485, and MDR. In addition, the candidate must possess excellent communication and organizational skills and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Responsibilities of a Sr. Compliance Engineer:
• Develop and implement compliance and regulatory strategies to ensure adherence to all legal and regulatory requirements for medical device design, manufacture, and distribution.
• Monitor compliance with FDA Quality System Regulation (QSR), ISO 13485, and MDR.
• Analyze and interpret regulatory requirements and provide guidance to ensure compliance.
• Develop and maintain processes and procedures to ensure quality standards are met.
• Conduct internal audits to assess compliance and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Review and approve documentation related to compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Investigate non-conformances and recommend corrective actions.
• Keep up to date with the latest developments in medical device regulations and industry best practices.
• Prepare and present compliance reports to management.
