Quality Inspector Utility

Conducts sampling, product testing and visual inspection of molded components, identifying molding defects and non-conformances. Must be familiar with and understand Molding inspection procedures and standards. Regularly monitor product for acceptable quality to the latest product specifications/procedures. Completes accurate documentation of all inspection/testing data and maintains an easily retrievable filing system. Familiar with raw, in-process or finished materials and their locations and is responsible for neat and proper storage. Possess a working knowledge of all processes and the components required to operate processes within the molding area. Must be able to operate a forklift safely. Transports components from manufacturing to staging area and raw materials and finished goods to and from molding area as needed by production demands. Conducts device history, procedural and product audits, as directed by Quality Management. Monitors product and/or process trends at discretion of QA and Molding Management.
