Job Description

Becton Dickinson is seeking an experienced Mold Repair/Tool and Die Maker to join our team. As an integral part of our manufacturing operations, the successful candidate will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, and modification of injection molds, tooling, and dies. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to read and interpret blueprints, and extensive experience in mold and die fabrication and repair. This position requires a team-oriented, detail-oriented, and safety-focused individual with a strong commitment to quality. Responsibilities:

  1. Repair, maintain, and modify injection molds, tooling, and dies.
  2. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  3. Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics to identify issues with molds and tooling.
  4. Assist in the fabrication of new molds and tooling as needed.
  5. Work within established safety protocols and guidelines.
  6. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  7. Follow quality control procedures and standards.
  8. Collaborate with other departments and personnel to ensure efficient operations.
  9. Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  10. Ensure timely completion of projects.
