  1. Lead and manage a team of medical experts to drive the success of our products and achieve our mission of improving healthcare outcomes.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Research and Development, Marketing, and Regulatory Affairs, to ensure the alignment of medical affairs strategy with overall business objectives.
  3. Develop and implement strategic plans for medical affairs, including scientific communication, medical education, and research initiatives.
  4. Stay current with industry trends and advances in medical technology to identify opportunities for product innovation and enhancement.
  5. Serve as a key spokesperson and ambassador for Becton Dickinson, representing the company at medical conferences, symposiums, and other events.
  6. Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to gather insights and drive advocacy for our products.
  7. Oversee the development and execution of clinical trials and studies to generate data and evidence supporting the safety and efficacy of our products.
  8. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines, including but not limited to FDA regulations, ISO standards, and Good Clinical Practice.
  9. Mentor and develop team members, providing guidance and support for their professional growth.
  10. Collaborate with global medical affairs teams to ensure consistency and alignment of strategies and messaging across regions.
  11. Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform product and business decisions.
  12. Maintain a thorough understanding of the disease areas and healthcare landscapes our products are used in, and utilize this knowledge to drive strategic decision-making.
  13. Work with external partners and vendors to execute projects and initiatives related to medical affairs.
  14. Represent the company in interactions with regulatory agencies and participate in the review and submission of regulatory documents.
  15. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including but not limited to those related to ethical and compliant behaviors.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In A Medical Or Healthcare Related Field (E.g. Md, Pharmd, Phd)

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Medical Affairs Role Within The Healthcare Industry

  • Strong Understanding Of Regulatory Requirements And Compliance In The Medical Device Industry

  • Demonstrated Leadership Skills And Experience Managing A Team

  • Excellent Communication And Presentation Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate Complex Medical Information To Various Stakeholders.
