- Conduct thorough assessments of our digital systems to identify vulnerabilities and potential risks.
- Develop and maintain compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security controls and measures to protect our digital infrastructure.
- Monitor and analyze security alerts and events to identify potential threats and take appropriate action.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cyber security trends and best practices to continuously improve our security posture.
- Assist in the development and execution of training programs to increase awareness and understanding of cyber security within the organization.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Communicate and report any security incidents or breaches to appropriate stakeholders and assist in remediation efforts.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on compliance and risk management, providing guidance and support to other team members.
- Actively participate in the Skillbridge Fellowship program, completing assigned tasks and projects to gain hands-on experience in the healthcare industry.
- Represent the company in a professional manner and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Continuously evaluate and improve our compliance processes and procedures to enhance the overall security posture of the organization.
- Collaborate with external partners and vendors to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and requirements.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
Knowledge Of Cybersecurity Regulations: A Cyber Compliance Analyst At Becton Dickinson Must Have A Strong Understanding Of Relevant Regulatory Frameworks Such As Hipaa, Gdpr, And Iso 27001 To Ensure The Company's Compliance With These Standards.
Experience With Compliance Audits: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience Conducting Compliance Audits To Assess The Company's Adherence To Internal Policies And External Regulations. This Includes Developing Audit Plans, Performing Risk Assessments, And Identifying Potential Vulnerabilities And Gaps.
Familiarity With Risk Management: A Cyber Compliance Analyst Must Be Well-Versed In Risk Management Methodologies And Possess The Ability To Identify, Assess, And Mitigate Cyber Risks Within The Organization. This Includes Conducting Risk Assessments, Implementing Risk Management Strategies, And Monitoring Risk Levels.
Strong Analytical Skills: This Role Requires A High Level Of Critical Thinking And Problem-Solving Skills To Analyze Complex Data, Identify Patterns, And Make Recommendations For Improvement. The Candidate Should Also Have A Keen Eye For Detail To Ensure Accurate And Thorough Compliance Reporting.
