Chief Information Security Officer

At Becton Dickinson, we are looking for a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to join our team. This individual will be an experienced and motivated leader with a passion for security and the ability to develop and implement security strategies throughout the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in information security and be comfortable working with stakeholders across departments.The CISO will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive security program to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our most sensitive data and systems. Responsibilities of the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO):

• Develop and execute a comprehensive security program to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the organization's most sensitive data and systems. • Manage security tools and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. • Develop and enforce security policies and procedures. • Monitor the organization’s security posture and identify any areas of risk or vulnerability. • Analyze and evaluate current security system processes and procedures and recommend improvements or modifications. • Develop and implement security awareness training programs for staff. • Coordinate with other departments to ensure the security of their data and systems. • Research emerging security technologies and tools and recommend their implementation where appropriate. • Respond to security incidents and manage the incident response process. • Serve as a liaison between the organization and external security vendors.
