  1. Provide technical support to customers: The Technical Application Specialist will be responsible for providing technical support to customers for Beckman Coulter's microbiology instrumentation. This includes troubleshooting technical issues, answering customer inquiries, and providing solutions and recommendations.
  2. Conduct training and education: The role requires conducting training and education sessions for customers on the proper use and maintenance of Beckman Coulter's microbiology instruments. This includes creating and delivering training materials, as well as providing on-site training at customer locations.
  3. Perform instrument installations and upgrades: The Technical Application Specialist will be responsible for performing instrument installations and upgrades at customer sites. This will involve following standard procedures, ensuring proper functionality of instruments, and providing training to customers on new features.
  4. Collaborate with sales team: This role requires collaborating with the sales team to identify customer needs, provide technical expertise and support during the sales process, and assist in developing solutions for customers.
  5. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements: The Technical Application Specialist will be responsible for staying updated on industry trends and advancements in the field of clinical microbiology. This includes attending conferences, workshops, and training sessions to continuously enhance knowledge and skills.
  6. Maintain documentation and records: The role requires maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation and records of customer interactions, training sessions, and instrument installations. This will ensure proper tracking and reporting of customer support activities.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Microbiology, Medical Technology, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience Working With Clinical Microbiology Instrumentation.

  • Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Laboratory Quality Control Practices And Regulations.

  • Excellent Troubleshooting Skills And The Ability To Resolve Technical Issues With Instrumentation.

  • Proven Track Record Of Providing Exceptional Customer Service And Support In A Clinical Laboratory Setting.
